Cleveland State University Fenn Tower will exist to accomidate student housing needs and preserve many of the universities historical points of interest. The proposed housing, accomidating 429 to 433 beds, will include apartment style units, semi-suites, and duplexes at the penthouse level. Some living areas will include small kitchens and verandas, while the lower level of the bulding will feature student areas, games, and laundry facilities. The ground floor will feature a retail area and restaurant.
The renovation of Fenn Tower will preserve the main entrance and staircase for historical purposes. The original solarium will be converted into student spaces dedicated to art and contemplative studies; existing ballrooms will be converted to conference centers.
