Mr. Arbuthnot brings 30 years of data processing experience in both the public and commercial sectors. He is a 1973 graduate of Blackburn University with a degree in chemistry. He served as a senior technical/business analyst for over 15 years with Heller Financial Incorporated working with several business units. He developed, implemented and maintained applications on several platforms from PC to mainframe computers. His responsibilities included providing U.S.-based clients with equipment financing and leasing, factoring and working capital loans, collateral-based financing, cash flow financing, real estate financing, small business lending, and project financing investments.
Prior to his experiences at Heller Financial he performed as IT Manager of Quality Assurance with GTE-D/FW overseeing development quality for mainframe applications. His role with GTE was a continuation of his QA efforts with Jewel Food Stores at its Melrose Park headquarters. Mr. Arbuthnot came to IPM as a consultant and was named as its CIO in 2003.
