After working for Ken McHugh while she attended law-school, Katrina Maglaya-Volkers began her legal career in the areas of real estate and family law. Over the last eight years, she has conducted residential and commercial real estate transactions both as an attorney and as a real estate broker.

In addition to working for Institutional Project Management, LLC, Katrina is currently an active real estate agent in the Chicagoland area. Prior to joining the IPM Team, Katrina practiced law at a Park Ridge firm, where she was responsible for a full range of civil matters, with a concentration in commercial and residential real estate transactions and family law. Early in her career, she held a contract position with the Illinois House of Representatives, during which she provided legal analysis and advice for the House Committee Chairpersons and Committee Members. During law school, Katrina worked full-time for Ken McHugh, conducting research and developing reports on legal issues affecting the University, including City of Chicago Zoning Ordinances, vendor contracts, and annual reports, and managing the office.
